Diarmuid has over six years experience as an environmental consultant on contaminated land and waste management projects. Diarmuid is currently the Senior Consultant as well as the Operations manager for the company. He has extensive experience of providing specialist advice and implementing innovative and cost effective solutions to landowners, developers and contractors dealing with contaminated land and groundwater. He has wide ranging experience with both qualitative and quantitative risk assessments (e.g. CLEA UK, RISC4, CONSIM etc.). He has evaluated the environmental liabilities on a number of potentially contaminated sites and redeveloped the contaminated sites in accordance with Part IIA and the relevant planning regulations. In addition, he has extensive experience of undertaking Environmental Assessments (Phase I and Phase II) and Remedial works (Phase III) for a variety of projects (from small to very large) across the UK and abroad. He has conducted research into both sediment and soil toxicity. He has also dealt with soil pollution issues in international venues such as Serbia and Brazil. He holds a Bachelors degree in Agriculture and a Masters degree in Environmental Science. He is an associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
