Prof Ken Killham, BSc PhD (Senior Science Consultant)

Ken is one of the UK's foremost authorities on the assessment and remediation of contaminated land. He is the established Professor of Soil Science at Aberdeen University, chairs the UK Soil Science Advisory Committee, is Past-President of the British Soil Science Society and sits on several UK Research Council committees and institute Boards to provide expertise on soils and on contaminated land issues. Ken has published several books on soil science and more than two hundred research papers, particularly focusing on soil pollution. Over the past ten years, Ken has worked with ICI, Yorkshire Water Service, Siemens, Shell, the British paper, metals and whisky industries to solve their land/environmental pollution problems. This provided a strong platform for current, active involvement in Remedios where Ken plays a key role in the unique technical and scientific expertise of the company with interpreting/trouble-shooting complex site issues and is providing an advocacy service for client interactions with regulatory authorities.
