Remedios are looking to recruit an environmental consultant with at least 2 years relevant experience to join their Aberdeen based team due to ongoing growth and development of the business. Candidates should be degree qualified in a relevant discipline and should hold a full UK or EU drivers license.
This position offers the opportunity to be closely involved in a wide range of land contamination investigations and site remediation projects. You will be working alongside an experienced environmental team and you will be responsible for undertaking site investigations (Phase I and Phase II), generic and detailed quantitative risk assessments and assisting in the development of remediation strategies for land contamination. Therefore good project management and communication skills are seen as distinct advantage.
Ideally, candidates should have experience of carrying out site specific risk assessments utilising various risk assessment tools, particularly CLEA UK, RISC4 and P20. However, in house training will be provided for the successful candidate if required. Experience in other disciplines such as air testing, EIA and IPC work is also seen as an advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to have initiative, be able to work on their own and be competent in preparing estimates for site investigation and remediation projects.
