Graeme Paton

Prof Graeme Paton, BSc PhD (Technical Director)


Graeme combines his technical directorship at Remedios with a Professorship at the University of Aberdeen in Soil Science. At Remedios he directs projects and works with the team to ensure client satisfaction and regulatory approval is met.

Ken Killham

Ken Killham, BSc PhD (Senior Science Consultant)


Ken is one of the UK's foremost authorities on the assessment and remediation of contaminated land. He was formerly the established Professor of Soil Science at Aberdeen University, chaired the UK Soil Science Advisory Committee, is Past-President of the British Soil Science Society and sat on several UK Research Council committees and institute Boards to providing expertise on soils and on contaminated land issues.

Catrin Thomas

Catrin Thomas BSc (Hons) MSc AIEMA (Environmental Consultant)


Catrin is a graduate environmental biologist with an MSc in Soil Science. After working as an environmental analyst in a contract laboratory for several years, she joined Remedios in 2007.

Hugh Addlesee

Dr Hugh Addlesee, BSc MSc PhD AIEMA (Environmental Consultant)


Hugh has a diverse background in biological sciences including microbiology. He also has an MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Aberdeen, and has previously worked in the groundwater unit of SEPA.

Paul Arthur

Paul Arthur BSc (Hons) Ecology (Science Consultant)


Paul completed his degree at Lancaster University in 2005 and is currently studying for a PhD. Prior to returning to education he worked in private sector for 12 years, initially as a microbiologist and later in business management.
